TODAY’S LITTLE PLAN

Find home.
Take your time.

F+J

Feel the bumps.
Let your fingers find their place.

For your own practiceA smaller session can still have a clear purpose.

Start with a movement.
Build toward a passage.

A simple plan for a practice break. Adjust the length to your energy, rather than rushing to finish.

  1. 1

    Choose one finger group.

Open Learn and choose the keys that feel unfamiliar. Follow the home-position guide and keep your hands relaxed.

  2. 2

    Repeat the reach slowly.

Use the lesson’s accuracy feedback to decide whether to repeat. A deliberate movement is more useful than a hurried guess.

  3. 3

    Put it into everyday words.

Take a solo test, then compare WPM and accuracy together. Try a friend race when you want to make practice social.

Choose for the job
you need it to do.

A classroom curriculum

Typing.com combines keyboarding instruction with broader digital skills and educator tools. Those classroom features matter if you need assignments, reporting or a managed curriculum.

An independent practice space

NinjaType focuses on tests, finger lessons and typing races. It suits a personal routine, with results saved in this browser. It does not replace a school’s teacher dashboard or reporting system.

A few things to know.

Is NinjaType a replacement for Typing.com’s school platform?

NinjaType is for individual practice and casual races. It does not provide Typing.com’s classroom administration, standards-aligned curriculum or teacher reporting. Keep those requirements separate when choosing a school platform.

Can I use NinjaType alongside my typing course?

Yes. Use a short finger lesson to repeat a difficult movement, then return to your assigned course. NinjaType does not connect to a school account or submit work to your teacher.

What do the NinjaType lessons teach?

The QWERTY lessons cover index, middle, ring and pinky finger pairs, beginning with home positions and adding reaches. You can review local progress and repeat lessons at your own pace.

Where will my results be saved?

Practice history and lesson progress are saved locally in your browser. NinjaType does not sync a student profile across school and home devices.
