Ninja Type
A Keybr alternative / purposeful practice

Pick the movement.
Make it familiar.

Some days, one awkward reach needs your attention. NinjaType gives you a clear finger lesson, a place to apply it, and a reason to come back tomorrow.

KEYBR

Let the statistics
choose the letters.

Keybr uses per-key typing statistics to generate lessons and target letters that need work. It is designed around an adaptive practice loop.

NINJATYPE

Choose a finger.
Take it into a full test.

NinjaType’s defined finger levels let you work intentionally on home anchors and reaches. Then switch to a dictionary test, Ghost Race or a friend room to use the movements in a different setting.

Open the key guide ↗

Turn a recurring mistake into a small task.

Take a comfortable baseline and watch for a key that repeatedly interrupts you. In Learn, find the finger group responsible for that key. Follow the placement guide and give the reach your full attention.

Return to a test with the same duration and dictionary. Compare accuracy before chasing WPM. The goal is to make the movement less hesitant, not to force a better score on every attempt.

Your history keeps the attempts together in this browser. A gentle streak rewards returning: a fully missed day reduces it by one, rather than resetting a long streak immediately.

Build a more accurate practice routine ↗

Give your fingers a daily home.

Make NinjaType your place for a focused lesson and a fresh attempt.

A few things to know.

Does NinjaType adapt lessons to my weakest key like Keybr?

No. Keybr generates practice using per-key statistics. NinjaType uses defined finger-group levels that you choose yourself. Use it when you want to focus deliberately on a movement and then apply it in a test or race.

Which lesson should I choose for a difficult key?

Use Learn’s keyboard guide to find the finger responsible for that QWERTY key. Start with its home anchors, then work through the reaches shown for that finger group.

Does NinjaType use Keybr’s generated words?

No. NinjaType has its own lesson content and test dictionaries. Keybr’s generated practice and NinjaType’s tests are different tasks, so their WPM scores should not be treated as interchangeable.

Can I practise without creating an account?

Yes. Lessons, tests and Ghost Race are free without a typing account. Your local history and lesson progress give you a record of practice in this browser.
